not sure if it is possible with your lens but just a suggestion - maybe opening up to a larger aperture may help blur the background more with shallower DOF... but then again if your intention was to get motion blur of people in the background then using a smaller aperture would frce a lower shutter speed capturing more motion... :)

but overall it's a very good shot for the question "What to order?" :)

So were you in the shot facing the camera which was set on timer mode? :)
